Payment and Cancellation Policies

What You Need to Know When Paying or Canceling Our Services

This information is provided for clarity and transparency. Please read carefully before paying, canceling, or modifying any service.
By making a payment, you confirm acceptance of all terms outlined below.

Prices

All services are quoted and confirmed via official Medellín VIP invoices.

Invoices are valid for seven (7) calendar days from the date of issuance. After this period, pricing and availability are no longer guaranteed and may be subject to change.

Only services explicitly listed on the invoice are included.

A 50% down payment marks the start of a binding commercial commitment and confirms your intent to reserve services.

Once the down payment is received:

  • Prices are locked

  • Availability is secured

  • Third-party providers are engaged

No dates, properties, or services are blocked until the down payment has been received in full.

Payments

By paying any invoice issued by Medellín VIP, you expressly acknowledge and agree to:

  • The services described in the invoice

  • The values charged

  • All payment, cancellation, and refund terms on this page

All payments constitute a binding contractual agreement and are final unless explicitly stated otherwise.

A non-refundable 50% deposit is required to reserve properties and secure the availability of all services.

This applies regardless of booking order. Even if a vacation home is paid first and services are added later, a separate 50% deposit is still required for those services.

The deposit is strictly non-refundable under all circumstances, including but not limited to:

  • Cancellations or changes of plans

  • Personal emergencies or medical situations

  • Airline delays, missed flights, or cancellations

  • Weather conditions

  • Force majeure or government actions

The deposit is used immediately to cover third-party partner costs, operational expenses, and opportunity costs.

Medellín VIP will not block dates or confirm services until the deposit has been received.

The remaining balance must be paid in full no later than seven (7) days before the scheduled flight date.

Failure to complete payment by this deadline will result in automatic cancellation of services without refund of the deposit, and Medellín VIP will have no further obligation to provide services.

No refunds will be issued for unused services, early departures, or partial participation.

Refunds

Once services are booked, they are removed from availability and cannot be resold.

For this reason:

  • No monetary value will be refunded

  • No credits are issued for unused or partially used services

  • No refunds apply for no-shows or early termination

All bookings are final.

In the rare event of an official, government-mandated country shutdown that legally prevents services from operating, Medellín VIP will process refunds only for amounts that are fully recoverable from third-party providers.

Refunds, if applicable, will be issued within ten (10) business days.

Deposits remain non-refundable, as they are used to pay initial partner costs and administrative expenses.

If you decide to cancel any service:

  • All paid amounts will be applied to outstanding balances

  • Deposits remain non-refundable

  • Vacation home rentals are strictly non-refundable unless there is documented negligence or service failure directly attributable to Medellín VIP

If the final payment has already been made, any remaining balance may be applied toward a future Medellín VIP service, subject to availability and approval. No cash refunds will be issued.

Changes and Cancellations

Punctuality is mandatory.

Vehicles will wait a maximum of 15 minutes beyond the scheduled pickup time. After this:

  • The service will be considered delivered OR

  • An additional hourly fee will apply, subject to availability

Delays caused by client lateness may affect other scheduled services. No refunds are issued for missed or shortened transportation services.

Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be submitted at least seven (7) days prior to travel and are subject to availability.

Only one change per service or activity is permitted.

Changes requested after arrival in the city are not guaranteed and may result in the service being considered used and non-refundable.

Additional services or extended hours requested during the stay are subject to availability and prior approval.

All outstanding balances must be paid before departure from Colombia. Failure to do so may result in service suspension.

Restaurant reservations may be canceled free of charge up to 24 hours prior to the reservation time.

Cancellations made within 24 hours, or no-shows, will incur a $200 USD fee, which is non-refundable.

All payments made to Medellín VIP are authorized by the cardholder and processed in accordance with the payment, cancellation, and refund terms disclosed prior to purchase.

By completing payment, the cardholder expressly acknowledges that:

  • This transaction is not a refundable retail purchase, but a reservation-based service

  • Services are custom, time-sensitive, and removed from availability once booked

  • Deposits and fees are applied immediately to non-recoverable partner and operational costs

  • Refunds are not issued for cancellations, no-shows, partial use, dissatisfaction, or changes of plans

  • These terms were clearly disclosed and accepted prior to payment

In the event of a dispute, Medellín VIP reserves the right to submit invoices, written communications, service confirmations, and policy acceptance as evidence to contest the charge.
